It is our pleasure to welcome you to Foulstone Farm, a charming Bed and Breakfast, home and farm, situated in 10 acres of land in South Lakeland, situated 1.5miles from Junction 36 of the M6 (South Lake District/ Yorkshire Dales Exit).

Discover Kirkby Lonsdale

Located near the town of Kirkby Lonsdale, Cumbria, which offers the unique experience of a traditional market town. There are numerous restaurants, cafes and pubs available for food and socializing. Devils Bridge, a popular meeting place spans the river Lune just four miles away, nearby outdoor recreational activities include fishing, walking and horse riding. The city of Lancaster and town of Kendal are only 20 minutes drive away, both of which have vibrant shopping centers and night life.

Foulstone Farm sits equidistant between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National parks just 12 miles away making it an ideal base for visiting these areas. You can glimpse quiet and serene views of the Farleton Knott and the Lake District from the house and footpaths in the local area.

We also have a beautiful garden and fields, complete with farm animals, should you wish to see them. We are able to accommodate guests attending weddings and receptions, family reunions, or whatever the occasion may be. Dogs are welcome.

Relax and unwind in our rooms, sit outside in the garden in the summer or by the log fire in winter.

The local pub serves excellent evening meals and is just short 5 minute walk away.

Marys famous farm breakfast

Freshly squeezed juice, tea and rich brewed coffee is served in the dining room. With fresh sausage and bacon from Althams, one of the regions longest established butchers, you won't go away hungry. Packed lunches can be arranged with prior notice.

A Victorian Fair is held in Kirkby Lonsdale each year on the first weekend in September. In period dress, the people of Kirkby Lonsdale turn the clocks back to create a lively victorian street atmosphere with entertainment, demonstrations, and vendors.
